Testimonials
“When I started researching vertical farming, I came across Little Greenhouse That Could and saw that Trina was local here in Winnipeg. Supporting a local grower with the knowledge and background she brings made the decision easy.
The experience has been excellent, Trina is always quick to respond to my questions, and she’s gone above and beyond by replacing parts when needed and even lending me tools to help me get set up. That kind of support has been crucial for me as I launched La Salad.
Honestly, there would be no La Salad without this grow wall. Trina isn’t satisfied until everything is running properly, and her clients are set up for success. As I scale up, I absolutely plan on continuing to work with her and get more walls through LGTC. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful to have her support on this journey.”
– Ryan, La Salad
“Connecting with Trina was a game changer for us. We really had no idea where to start with building our farm but as soon as we started working with Trina, it all started to move in the right direction. We have gone from not knowing where to start, to growing and selling our lettuce thanks to her guidance and expertise in vertical farming. Trina is always there to answer any questions and point us in the right direction, which has been amazing!
I would highly recommend working with Trina to anyone with an interest in vertical farming. We would not be where we are today without her help!”

Our Projects
We transform spaces into thriving indoor farms, helping Manitoba schools, businesses, and communities achieve their vertical farming visions.

Siloam Mission
Here we installed a community vertical farm solution — a 720 harvest today wall, and a nursery station to start plants. We installed the equipment, trained Kendall and her team how to grow in the farm, and have been providing on-going customer support since. Since having the farm in their shelter Siloam Mission can now provide healthy fresh produce to their community and make unique dishes!

University of Manitoba
The university of Manitoba has a full small-scale vertical farm funded by Efficiency Manitoba. We designed, installed and are now operating this farm with a team of Biosystems engineering students. This farm is used to validate energy consumption and growth rates, for proposed vertical farm designs.

37 North Farms
37 North farms is a start-up commercial scale vertical farm located in Treherne Manitoba. Little Greenhouse provided this group with a design concept, rental equipment and on-going customer support, to ensure their successful in creating their business!

St Johns Highschool
We helped out in the pre-engineering class at St. John’s Highschool by teaching kids how to build and design their own indoor growing systems. This project was quite successful and some of the kids got featured on the international magazine The Vertical Farm Daily!
